PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES
Your well-being is my ultimate concern. Since 2009, I have provided individuals in the Buffalo, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, and now New York City area a wide range of psychological and counseling services to suit their needs. My therapy sessions use a number of different therapy modalities and are designed to strengthen your relationship with yourself, to empower you to know and use strategies for success post therapy and to meet you where you are at, at a pace that works for you.



TOGETHER
Though no one can tell you exactly what your therapy process will be like, what I can tell you is that in therapy you will establish goals for your time working with me and determine the steps you will take to get there. Your relationship with me is a confidential one and focuses not only on the content of what you talk about, but also the process. The therapeutic process - how you share your feelings and experiences - is considered to be just as important as the specific issues or concerns you share in therapy.
BUILD
Beginning therapy can be a step toward living the most authentic version of yourself and living your best life possible. Through commitment to therapy, you can change behaviors and habits that are unhelpful in you building and living your most satisfying life. You can learn to regulate painful or unpleasant emotions. You can become more aware of patterns contributing to relationship issues and much more. Therapy is similar to building muscle, it involves accepting where you are starting from, visualizing where you want to be, identifying realistic, manageable steps and a willingness to build different habits.
DISCOVER
As your therapist I will be someone who creates a safe space where you can feel supported, heard and understood. I will be someone who gives you appropriate feedback and validation, guides you towards alignment with your values and follows ethical guidelines. As a therapist, I embody SELF as a state of calm, curiosity, compassion, creativity, confidence, courage, connectedness, and clarity. This is a state that allows me to work collaboratively with you without pathologizing.
